Who We Are

We are residents of Maryland, appalled at the destruction visited upon Iraq, concerned about the state of our nation, and profoundly troubled by the multiple deployments of our state's Guard members to Iraq.

We join with groups in several states around the country to end this illegal deployment of our Guard to Iraq.
The National Campaign

Legislators in twelve states have publicly committed to introduce legislation in upcoming legislative sessions, and legislation has already been submitted in four states: Vermont, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Rhode Island.

These national organizations are co-sponsoring the campaign to keep the Guard at home:
